Samaritan's Hand - saving and changing young lives in africa

Helping the Children of Uganda

Hi! I’m Esther Taylor…

Ten years ago, I found three children who were malnourished and near death. They were living in a small village in Uganda, and there was no medical care available for them. That’s when the Lord called me to nurse them back to health and provide for the needs of many more children like them.

The same year I found a school that was operating out of a tiny bamboo shack attached to a mud church. It had 100 students. Today the school has 300 students, and we are in the process of creating better facilities and learning conditions for the children.

I have always had a heart for children, so I registered Samaritan’s Hand as a 501(c)3 in 2007.

Today, we are updating our website to reflect the latest news. I invite you to explore these pages and learn about our current projects and how you can help the children of Uganda.
